
Early American hell on earth from a Sherwin Williams ad in LIFE magazine, early 70s. (It’s all early 70s in the original LIFE, they closed at the end of ‘72.) It is impossible to overstate the level of do-not-want on display here. They actually recommended that the campaign chest be covered in contact paper; looks like the same advice was applied to the table in the foreground as well. Shudder.
